The Gazette, which is the UK’s Official Public Record and the oldest continuously published newspaper, is the place where the announcement of your award was first formally made. Information regarding purchasing copies of your record can be obtained via this link

The Order holds an annual Evensong and Reception to welcome new appointments to the Order at the Savoy Chapel, invitations are included within welcome letters.

Members and medallists of the Royal Victorian Order and holders of the Royal Victorian Medal are always welcome at public services, which are held on Sunday(except in August and September) at 11 a.m.
Members and medallists of the Order and their families are also welcome to use the chapel for the sacraments of baptism and marriage, and for funerals and memorial services.

like to discuss the possibility, or would like to talk to the Chaplain generally, should contact him on 0207 836 7221.
The Order also holds a Ceremonial Service every four years, during Easter Court, at St George’s Chapel, in Windsor Castle. The next ceremonial service is scheduled for
Friday 03rd May 2019.
