The following companies are approved medal specialists affiliated to the Central Chancery. Miniatures and other merchandise relating to the Orders can be found on their websites.
Chapels of the Orders
There are a number of Churches and Chapels affiliated to the Orders of Chivalry, for which Members are welcome to visit. More information can be found on the websites below:
St Paul’s Cathedral
St Paul’s Cathedral houses the official Chapels of both the Order of St Michael and St George and the Order of the British Empire. The OBE Chapel (also known as the All Faith’s Chapel) is located in the Crypts of the Cathedral, and the SMSG Chapel is located at the west end of the Nave. Ceremonial Services for both Orders take place in the Cathedral every four years, with an Evensong taking place annually.
Westminster Abbey
The Abbey houses the official Chapel of the Order of the Bath. The Chapel features the Stalls and Banners of some of the Knights and Dames Grand Cross. The Ceremonial Service for the Order takes place at the Abbey every four years, and installations of new Knights and Dames Grand Cross takes place annually.
The King's Chapel of the Savoy
The official Chapel of the Royal Victorian Order, heraldic arms plates of the Knights and Dames Grand Cross decorate the walls of the Chapel. A welcome Evensong is held for all new Members and Medalists of the Order annually, and Members are welcome to visit the Chapel at one of their regular services.
St George’s Chapel, Windsor
St George’s Chapel, Windsor is the official Chapel for the Order of the Garter, but also hosts the Ceremonial Service for the Royal Victorian Order every four years. Garter Knights attend the annual Service on ‘Garter Day’.
His Majesty’s Chapel Royal, Hampton Court
Since 2017, His Majesty’s Chapel Royal, Hampton Court Palace has been associated with the Companions of Honour. Evensongs have been held there for the Order.
