An Evensong is to be held at St. Paul’s Cathedral at 5pm on Wednesday 25th September 2019 and will be followed by a short drinks Reception in the Crypt of the Cathedral.

Tea and Lecture: Wednesday 26th June 2019

A Tea and Lecture event will take place on Wednesday 26th June 2019 at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, London.

We are delighted to welcome Professor Dame Jane Francis DCMG to speak at this year’s event. Currently the Director of the British Antarctic Survey, Jane was appointed DCMG in recognition of services to UK Polar Science and Diplomacy. She is involved with international polar organisations such as the Antarctic Treaty and European Polar Board. Her research interests include ancient climates and fossil plants from the Arctic and Antarctica for which she has undertaken over 15 polar expeditions.

The lecture will begin at 5.30pm (arrival from 5pm) with a short drinks reception to follow. Due to the restricted capacity please note that priority will be given to Members of the Order on a first come basis and members may bring one guest to accompany them.
